Seven weeks after tornados tore through our area, there is still plenty of clean-up work for volunteers. The Well took a break from regularly scheduled worship services and collectively put our mission statement into action. A group of 16 Wellies donned boots, gloves, and masks to help the St. Martin’s Episcopal Church on East Brainerd. The group spent time cutting up large downed trees, moving brush to burn piles, and clearing debris from the playground area. Our volunteers had the privilege of working alongside members of their congregation, all of whom were grateful for the help and an absolute pleasure to work with. Thank you to all those that were able to come out to serve in this way!
